The hacker is wanted for " hacking computer databases with subsequent theft and dissemination of information."

Police in Lucerne (Switzerland) searched the apartment of hacker Tillie Kottmann, who took responsibility for the massive hacking of video surveillance cameras with face recognition function in Tesla and Cloudflare, as well as in hospitals, prisons, schools, etc.

"Today at 7 am my time, the local police raided my apartment and confiscated all electronic devices at the request of the US Department of Justice," Kottmann said.

According to Bloomberg, the search was conducted in the course of an investigation into a hack that took place last year and is not related to the recent wave of security camera hacks. According to a search warrant issued by the District Court for the Western District of Washington, the hacker is wanted for "hacking into computer databases and then stealing and distributing information, including source code, confidential documents, and internal user data."

Previously, Kottmann published confidential Intel documents and source codes of fifty companies , including Microsoft, Adobe, Lenovo, AMD, Qualcomm, Motorola, Hisilicon (owned by Huawei), Mediatek, GE Appliances, Nintendo, Roblox, Disney, Johnson Controls, etc.

Recall that this week, Kottmann also claimed to have hacked the security camera provider Verkada and gained access to users ' videos.
