According to the attackers, they managed to steal 40 GB of corporate data from Boggi Milano.

Italian premium menswear brand Boggi Milano has been subjected to a cyberattack using extortionate software. According to Bloomberg, representatives of the company confirmed the fact of the cyber attack and said that an investigation is currently underway. In their opinion, the incident did not have any significant impact on the company's operations.

As reported by the cybercrime group Ragnarok in a blog on the darknet, it managed to steal 40 GB of corporate data, including documents from the human resources department and information about the salary of employees. Bloomberg sources confirmed that the company was the victim of extortionate software, and the attackers stole 40 GB of data.

Founded in 1939, Boggi Milano is one of the most famous Italian brands of premium men's clothing. The company owns 200 stores in 38 countries.

Recall that last year, cybercriminals massively installed Ragnarok through a zero-day vulnerability in Sophos XG firewalls (CVE-2020-12271 ).
