The blocking is related to the requirement of Roskomnadzor to remove bots designed to collect confidential information of citizens from leaked databases of various departments and companies. The creation of such bots violates the legislation on the protection of personal data, and their use violates the rights of data subjects.
At the request of Roskomnadzor, other bots were also disabled, including Archangel and Smart_SearchBot, which allowed searching by name and phone number, as well as Mailsearchbot, which searched for usernames and passwords from email addresses.
An hour after the block, the "Eye of God" bot became available at a new address.
